Pathways to Memory & more
Latisha Williams, the Founder of Eyxonie Care has been caring for the elderly and mentally challenged individuals in the community since 1996. As a Certified Nurse Assistant, Medication Technician and CPR Certification, she dedicated her life to providing care in nursing and private homes along with hospital settings. Although highly skilled and experienced, she was truly tested in 2006 when her mother suffered from a massive heart attack. From a period of time without the lack of oxygen to her mother’s brain; she has a brain injury and suffers from dementia which requires her to have 24 hour care.
From this life changing event, it birthed her love for memory care as she sought out ways to challenge the pathways to regaining ones memory and quality of life. She also found a need in the community for families who are challenged with adapting to a new way of life in caring for their loved ones with little to no assistance.
From the first day of her mother’s accident, Latisha vowed to God, "If he spared her mom’s life, she would always take care of her mother and be there in her darkest days.” To this present day, Latisha still choose her mom’s life and wellbeing. Aside from that, she is dedicated to help families in need of her assistance. Her mission is to open up an adult day center in her mom’s honor to show her dedication, love and loyalty to her warrior, surviving, fighting mother.
Let’s talk about how we can work together to build a personalized plan for those you love and care for the most.
